SPECIES: Tristaniopsis laurina(Water Gum)
DIMENSIONS: 9m high x 6m spread (Can reach 15m in natural habitat)
ORIGIN: Eastern Australia from Victoria to southern Queensland
SOIL TYPE: Suits most soil types
ASPECT: Sunny position or partial sunlight. Will do best in warm, moist position with well mulched soil.
TOLERANCE: Suits full sun.
EVERGREEN/DECIDUOUS: Evergreen
USES:

Water gums can be used in both private gardens, for their high ornamental qualities, and in public landscaping. They are commonly used as street trees because of their pollution tolerance

DESCRIPTION:

The deep green leaves are around 10 cm in length. In colder areas, some of the leaves turn reddish in winter. The perfumed bright yellow flowers are similar to those of the well known tea trees and occur in late summer. The trunk is smooth, creamy to brown and very attractive.
